Love The Chores

What a beautiful day! And it has been since many many weeks ago, but it keeps getting better and better! Thank you Lord Jesus for everything for all good things come from you. I enjoyed doing laundry, really happy that the clothes are all in good shape, properly cleaned and folded but more importantly, we have the sun! The Son! Even unbelievers get to enjoy, how big a heart our God is, the God who created you and I. I managed to clean the house thoroughly last weekend and realllllllllllly enjoyed it! Infact, the Lord was me the entire time and that was the best part! No words can describe a life filled w the presence of our Lord Jesus - making every little thing in life so beautiful for He is beautiful, like a diamond - brilliant from all angles... Thank you Lord for helping me receive you with open arms and living a Holy-Spirit directed life, not one that is religious for the law only proves to us how unable we are in doing it perfect instead it is through your perfect work on the cross that allows us the chance to be perfect, only through your grace!

I Am An Overcomer!

Overcame voices of the dos and donts, living under the law, how religious people may intepret God's words too lurking within my own realm, instead God helped me focus on the needs of the people around me ... Very much like when Jesus healed the lame on Sabbath Day. We heard the stories but what do we receive from there? The Pharasees were so focused on the law (they themselves have set based on God's words!) and would rather not heal anyone simple because of the religious law. When healing was performed, they proved their belief by their words and actions.

Very much like in todays world, when another Christian do or dont do something, if not careful, we may persecute them even in our own minds, judging or criticizing them, leaving them feel so condemned for what they are doing (we're not talking about sins the Bible clearly talks about, things that clearly God doesnt want us to do) but these are things such as, watching a movie, drinking wine, getting a job, sending your child to school, working in a non-Christian organization la la la ..... I remember one day not too long ago, when I have already started working on being a good help-meet to hubby, looking at our situation, I didn't mind taking up jobs, and do it cheerfully, trusting that the Lord has already given us the peace to live each day happily - but because I was going to work, hence a busy schedule, a friend said to me, "I dont envy you" .. Although I have never thought of wanting her to envy me but I must admit for a moment it had me feeling bad, feeling as though what I was doing is wrong, feeling condemned because I am not home with my girl eventhough deep inside I know my goal is to help hubby and the family and this is just an interim thing, yet this remark left me feeling bad and certainly condemned. Very much the same, we may use words in our very home leaving our family members feel bad, even little children.

But the Lord's been gracious, through powerful preaching by our own Ps and others, He has helped me see to all these situations that our tongue and words are so powerful it can kill the Spirit of another ... or if you like, cripple them. The Lord has also been very gracious helping me see beyond people who leave me feeling bad and certainly I don't resent them .. after all, even myself have said things that have left others feeling bad, we all fall short of the glory of God, but instead by God's grace, I love them as Christ love them because I have experienced Christ love for me and He has encouraged me always "Whatever you receive freely, give it freely"... At the same time, the Lord actively helps me also stay focus on my own tongue! How great it is that I am using it to bless others instead of crippling them! Thank you Lord Jesus.

So the key is to set our eyes focus on the Lord, what is important to do Lord .. and I believe with all my heart that the Lord loves people from the bottom of His heart, which means, what they need is important to Him and it is His will to provide to them. So, my job is to stay focus on the needs of the people whom God places in my life, on-going, 24 x 7, wearing on Jesus glasses, the Lord will help me identify these needs and I serve them because the Lord serves them. Not because I am good or I am worthy or my ability or even my love for people, because if its not because of the Lord's grace upon me, I dont even have the ability to love others.

Right now, our family needs financial help and I will do my best to help, the Lord will be the one who works out the plan but my job is to open up my heart, let the Lord soften my heart, free it from religious beliefs, but live by God's grace and abundant love each new day! Starting to look for a job now, something that will certain help hubby and family here, and surely it is also God's will to bless ANA with a safe and wonderful God-loving home and up-bringing, so I will trust in that too!

Double Steamer

Soooooooooo very happy with my double steamer, almost every weekday just using this will do our lunch and dinner, healthy and happy food too! Thank Lord for helping me to not be wasteful, thrifty, cherish and appreciate everything old and new, otherwise I wouldn't have brought this back all the way from KL, or even know how to learn to wait, and would just quickly buy a new one, if no cash, just swipe my card and get one right away! You have trained me to learn to wait and live a happy life because at the end of the day, we are so much more better off! Thank you for your promise that we may not only live but live abundantly!

Ever since sold the unit, have had so many challenging thoughts in response to requests and needs from the surrounding (thanks to Lord's grace, its all just on the surfaces, I guess human inclination to wonder and analyze, no deep negative thoughts) and told the Lord, He is the one who knows best, I just said, "Lord, lord, so how, what should I do" and live each day believing that the Lord will provide the answer for He is the one who sees everything from birds eye view! This morning got it and wonder why ... hey it didn't occur to me, we could buy a small flat for us to live here, buy it for ANA (which was also the original intention why I had bought the SH apt, and puzzling how we can return to her the edu funds originally given to her too! among many other things) but viola! Since our lease is expiring and our rent is pretty high, its also wise to move to a more affordable place, not to mention purchasing it for ANA! Yay! Committing everything to the Lord, inc. this purchase, for if it is the Lord who's safeguarding everything who can take it away before asking Him!? Thank you Lord! Off we went looking around today's papers, made some calls, do some preliminary viewing and get some basic information ...

Follow Me

I realize many do believe God exist, some of which do believe in God. This helps me understand why God has not call us quits inspite of all our wrong-doings. It helps me see how loving our God is because while we cannot see so much with our human eyes, God sees it all and He sees that there are still so many to whom belongs to Him, wants to return home ... which is why I also understand and appreciate this time that we're living in: last call, last call - there's still chance for each one of us to abandon our idoltry Gods and say, "Forgive me Father, now I realize the Truth". Many I could see through Jesus eyes are innocent children (refering to adults) for real children have a humble heart, willing to learn and faithful to accept the truth ... but these adults are in many ways very innocent. It's becoming so clear to me now that I am back in Asia, I can see it all around me, my friends and relatives ... deep inside their heart they know God exist, in many ways searching for God, yet because of the culture and up-bringing (clearly described in the Bible), they "do as Romans do" ... carrying the legacy their parents and other role models in their life has left behind.

Why do we perform all the fancy rituals to all the fancy gods? Because our parents did it, our grandparents did it, our brothers and sisters, family members ... but do we really know these gods? There's no personal relationship with these gods for if we do have, we will find that they don't exist. For one to know the one true and living God, they just have to face God Himself and spend time with Him, get to know, communicate and get a response. Surely, if we put a piece of wood in front of us and speak to the wood, it cannot smile to us in return, but the one true and living God can! Try it for yourself, don't have to believe me.

Then there are those who also "do as Romans do" going to Church and calling for Almighty God and the Lord Jesus name but inside do not have a personal relationship with God, very much like those who pray to all those other gods. It's like a culture thing too, go to Church, be part of a religious family ..... but have not accepted Jesus as Personal Lord and Savior. However, since it is the Lord they are calling out too, it is also between the Lord and them because only God can see through their hearts, not me, in many ways very similar to how God sees through hearts of unbelievers too.

Whatabout those who do not perform anymore fancy rituals but believe in themselves or still their other modern day gods? Even believing in our ownself is a religion! But know the one true living God is not a religion, but a relationship. Those who believe in themselves do in many ways still believe there's a God! Take for instance, ask a person who claims they do not believe in God to curse themselves dead or striked by all kinds of great misfortune. I think they wouldn't dare! Some who's still in denial would say, ohhh, its about the law of cause and effect la la la, but who created these laws? God is God or order, without these laws of nature, the Earth wouldn't be able to function in an orderly manner. You dont have to believe me but just spend time watching nature documentaries or observe the way living things work .. soon you will notice, everything in nature evolves around a system in an orderly fashion. Its quite predictable! Even earthquakes which we cannot really predict occurs in a manner of cause and effect! And then there are some who's also in denial would refuse to thank God. It's like we receive a gift from a friend and say, I am so thankful (to ourselves) and ignores the person who hands over the gift or refuse to write a thank you card. "We are so blessed" but who blessed us? No need to thank the blessor .... for "I" have achieved these myself. But we do not have to look far to realize that many things we did not create it ourselves. For instance, if I ask you the formula of how we can create this wonderful vegetable that you like, or your favourite fruit, or even your lovely child ... we are far from knowing the how to create the end product let alone the seed! We are not even the designer, merely the user. Many things we have today is also a result of copy-ing what God has created, how can we claim there's no Creator - that's copyright infringement! Have you ever plagarized? Plagarism isn't only about copying the sentence as it is, but even if you modify the sentence to disguise your act, but the meaning and content was taken from a particular source, you are plagarizing!

We may not know all the answers to everything (for if we do, we are God) and if we claim we do, then we must be aspiring to be God .. but I have learned through God's grace by being thankful to Almighty God. It's a starting point, and from there through His grace, He will draw us near, give us more understanding, never wanting us to go astray ... He knows we are so innocent "blur" that we just follow whatever our culture, media, people around tell us - so many blind leading the blind, yet He is not counting on our poor choice to do so, instead sent His Son to die on the cross so that through Christ, we may know the one true living God - the Truth itself. Jesus didn't say, "Christianity is the way the truth and the life", He didn't say, "Your Christian friends are the way, the truth and the life", "Your Church is the way the truth and the life", "Professing Christians around the way is the truth, the way and the life", instead He said, "Follow me ... I am the way, the truth and the life"....

Harvest Time - Start Work

Today I will also start to re-align my priorities. With the move and settling down, its easy to lose focus and get lost in the maze! Fortunately though, working with Jesus as your boss isn't quite like a maze for those are just illusions! It's actually a clear open space, direct open access to Almighty God! Plus, loads and loads of grace, so every new day is a fresh beautiful day! No need to feel guilty or condemned whatsoever, instead by the power of what our Lord has already accomplish, we bear fruits! We can't help but the bear fruit that is! It's harvest time!

Back to my full-time job, now that the printer is in place, I should start putting together again the portfolios of the accounts Boss has assigned to me. What are their needs, feed feed feed for our Company has plenty of resources, subsidized by the Government. All they need to do is receive, very much like how people receive grants. But surely if you notice, there will be grant administrators, putting together all the necessary paperwork for the people to receive these grants! Yes, they have all made it to qualify, not through their own creditials or effort but through the finished work of Christ Jesus!

PS Thank you Lord for giving me a 1 mth break to settle down a little, giving me the chance to be my own-boss, the 'American Dream'! Without getting into debts for you have paid it all!

5 AM Routine

OK so its been about a month since I got here, starting a new routine from today! No more waking up at about 7-7.30pm, but going for 5am! Still vividly remember my parents waking up early during my early school days. I think its a good habit to start the day early! Let's do it!

Love MRT

I actually do love travelling on the MRT, bus and such - public transport here in SG, very much like in HK. Clean, neat, efficient, can do quite abit while travelling unlike if I am driving. Plus loads of walking, like it too! Infact very thankful to the Lord for bringing us through the red sea over to the land of flowing milk and honey! Although we may not necessarily see the honey and milk now, but thanks to God's grace, we are now depending on Him entirely, trusting and entrusting to the Lord all there is! Thanks to God's grace too, we have guidance from His words, not to complain, fret instead learn to trust and obey through the power of Christ! Thank you Lord for sustaining us through the journey, keeping us away from disbelief :)

House In Order

So happy, I have time to keep the house in order! What a joy! I love to do things for my 2-kids at home! Gonna work on a clean and tidy guestroom, as well as our long-overdue family photo album!

Worry-Free Life

So nice waking up every morning care-free! Worry-free and stress-free! Thank you Lord Jesus - for your grace taking me through one step at a time, a speedy one too! Every new morning, a new wonderful one - the Lord has taken care of me so I may also be fit to take care of others, those around me. Thank you Lord for giving me a serving heart. Started playing the piano - not professionally, but indeed professionally for the Lord! My first song to learn is "Give Thanks", it's so revolutionary, almost as if God's love falling down upon us like gentle pure white snow fall ...

So happy to be able to attend to CSK and ANA's needs each day, with smiles and joy! Not tired but full of joy and strengh of the Lord to serve them! Indeed, its my pleasure to serve! Thank you Lord for giving me the desires of my heart for it is you who have planted these good desires in the first place ...

Only Good Things

The Lord said to me today, that "I will only give you things that are good, things that are no good I will not give you, all you have to do is trust me. You may not see it now but trust me"... Convicting words I have spoken to my little girl flashes back to bless me - surely, if we sinful human parents won't give bad things to our children, what more our Heavenly Father who are in Heaven? Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for your presence and providence, every new day, under your grace.

I had a dream a little earlier just now, and once again had been reminded about DD and MM's salvation. The Lord has been gracious, I once dreamt about MM many mths ago, and then DD - somehow they both will be in the Lord's presence. It is my hope that Jesus will take them home when its dark and lonely, for Jesus is the only true light of the world ... It is my hope that every soul is saved too - and I hope to be able to contribute directly to saving lost souls. Thank you Lord Jesus for giving me the desires and the hope, the solution to what this life is all about.

Fun Loving Trip

Returning to SG today, what a great trip last week - spend time with DD and MM, meet up with WG and family, no special events planned but just loving my family members! So, care-free and purely goodness! Thank you Lord for all the big and small provisions along the way, esp. the yummy mangoes too!

Sold!

So! Finally sold our SH apt. First thing I visited the unit though, stayed over w/end and very thankful to the Lord for providing me the chance to do so and able to enjoy and experience the surrounding. Whatever the plan is, Lord I know you're in control!
