My Brothers & Sisters
So who are our brothers and sisters? In Matthew and Mark:
"Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?" .... For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother." (Matthew 12:48-50) "Who are my mother and my brothers?" he asked ..."Here are my mother and my brothers! 35Whoever does God's will is my brother and sister and mother." (Mark 3:33-35) in Luke 8:21 - He replied, "My mother and brothers are those who hear God's word and put it into practice."
So who among my fellow church mates are the ones who put God's word into practice? Having to understand the Parable of Wheat and Weeds with the help of our Lord and consistently througout the Bible, I believe it is not our job to say who is true or not true, it is the Lord who sees all hearts. Honestly we cannot see through hearts, the quiet times, the private confessions, the deepest emotions of people. Even they themselves cannot see all there is in their heart. There are many many many very sincere Christians out there who's seeking God out but like sheeps who's so vulnerable to diseases and easily led astray become victim of the god of the world today. In a way, we can judge to an extent for the skill to judge is also given to us but before we judge anyone, lets ask ourselves, "Are we willing to help?" If not, there's really nothing we need to say or do, if we are, we will find out that once we start to put their best interest in our hearts, God will help us see through their fragile human heart. We are all on the same boat. We all fall short of the glory of God. Let's not go against each other but alongside each other, seeking the one true God. When it comes to who is true and who is not, it doesnt really matter what we think, it is what God thinks who judges fairly. Our job is to love God with all our heart and love our neighbor as Christ have set the example.
