God Surpasses It All
Ever wonder why "Christians" 'who are imperfect in your eyes' keep bugging you to go to church or always wanting to share with you about Jesus? That's the power of God. They know its something "good" (the good news) that eventhough they "are not yet there" they want to share it with you first.
Imagine if you have already tasted one of the best cookies in town, just so out of ordinary, super extrodinary! Then the next time you go get some, you make sure you have it yourself first before you go buy another box for your neighbor. Believe it or not, that's how we live our life today, for most people, 'as long as they are taken care of first', 'as long as I am happy, why bother about reaching out to others', 'as long as I am doing the right thing', 'as long as my conscience is clear' ... 'as long as I eat my own yummy cookie' ... while this is so powerful in the lives of so many people in the world today, the power of God surpasses all that. Even the one who is "not yet perfect in your eyes" cannot hold the good news to himself/herself! The Good News is not dependant on how good a person is first before it is given to you, it surpasses the imperfect, the imperfect professing 'Christian' .. it is so good that even the imperfect Christian would say when she receive her 2nd box of the yummy cookie, "Let me give it to my neighbor first' eventhough in the eyes of their neighbor, they are still filled with flaws and unrighteousness, they feel condemned, or not good enough. God's Good News is not depending on how good a Christian is, for God's work is not dependant on men alone but God himself who is all dependable.
