No Need To Pre-qualify Friends

Have you ever wondered why you dont have many friends (true or not true, whatever you call it) today, ever ask yourself instead have you been friends (true or not true) to many? More importantly - have you been SELECTIVE of your friends? Setting an invisible set of pre-qualifications before allowing others to enter into your life? I wanna spend abit more time thinking about this, and incorporate this more consistently into my daily way of life - not to be selective about anyone and welcome everyone with open arms. I know I have since long time ago broke the barriers but I also recently noticed that people out there do set such barriers for themselves ... thinking they are protecting themselves from getting hurt. Extending on this learning, I wanna try to reach higher grounds, being friends to every single human being I come in contact with - welcoming them with full open warm heart, like brothers and sisters no matter how imposing they may be, I shall choose not to think so! Ultimately, there's no shortcut- you have to give first b4 u receive.. and sometimes, give for a long long time before you receive because you reap what you sow, and who knows you've been receiving for so long, you have forgotten to give -- and since you are not planting any good seeds anymore, you can't expect to receive a harvest, isn't that logical!!??
